Once again this year, the media education film program for schools is contributing to film literacy. The Ebersbach student project “Filmriss,” in which students from Schkola Oberland collaborate with the Ebersbach Film Theater and Cultural Association to organize year-round cinema screenings that complement classroom instruction, is once again responsible for organizing for the NFF. The team is supported by students in grades 9 and 10 from the Gymnasium der Evangelischen Zinzendorfschulen Herrnhut as part of the “Learning through Engagement” project. The film selection is based on the theme of the festival’s Focus section, “Transformations.” The program features films for all age groups, a variety of accompanying materials, and affordable ticket prices.
